MACARTHUR PLACE

OBJECTIVE
As a brand-new luxury boutique hotel, MacArthur Place faced the unique challenge of how to market its myriad event venues and custom culinary programs to prospective couples without a wedding-specific image gallery.

The Sales, Marketing, and Events Team (in coordination with their Public Relations agency) sought out MegaWatt Events to collaborate on the creation of a curated wedding, lifestyle, and food & beverage asset library that could be used for event sales calls, social media marketing, and bridal/travel media publication.​

PROJECT
MegaWatt Events oversaw the creative direction and styling of a three-day professional photoshoot at the property. The project began by sourcing a team of expert creatives, who collaborated on custom floral design, paper goods, tabletop, ceremony/ reception/lounge decor, bridal styling, and more. MegaWatt Events established a visual wedding-weekend narrative, shared design mood boards with the team, and created a detailed production timeline for the shoot.

MegaWatt Events traveled to Sonoma and oversaw styling of all set-ups, from bridal-specific moments (couples' portraits; outdoor ceremony, bar, and cocktail lounge; reception and bridal luncheon tablescapes; wedding details, including invitation suite) to broad-spectrum lifestyle imagery (family movie night; afternoon lawn games; room service; poolside lounging).

Once the shoot wrapped, our team managed deliverables, strategized a social media campaign, marketed the property to luxury event professionals, pitched to press, and more.​
 ​RESULTS
​​​★    A 300-plus professionally edited image gallery delivered to the MacArthur team, which was used for bridal media, event marketing, and sales calls with prospective couples.
​​​★    Marketing of new venues to high-net-worth event planners and national vendors through targeted outreach by MegaWatt Events. 
​​​★    Successful social media campaign in collaboration with partner vendors to drive exposure and press.
